i am tired of farming greens all the time and ice imps or trolls just isnt doing it.
I've found some solo builds for UW and FoW beach/forest.
I would like to know;
which is the hardest/easiest
which takes longer/shorter
which is more profitable

I don't want to know what the most you've gotten was because at one time you may have gotten 4 ectos (lol...not anymore)
just over all what made you more money

Junk drops and cash will have you coming out about even in either place.

Getting a few lucky ecto drops will bring you out ahead of a few lucky shard drops.

Both places are pretty easy once you get the hang of the builds and how to run them. Expect to lose a little cash learning the ropes, though.

UW smite run is probably a bit quicker, especially when you skip all the aatxe.

Ok

Which is hardest/easiest?
A: Depends on build your using, but generally UW is considered easier.

Which takes longer/shorter?
A: Depends on how much ur soloing. UW smite runs are around 15min. If your talking about soloing whole UW its like 4 hours. FoW is probly more.

Which is more profitable?
A: All about your luck. FoW drops more gold weapons and chests are way way better, but UW has the ecto that FoW doesnt. If you farm both for an hour you'll probably have an equal profit, but if you farm them both for many many hours over time, problly a lot more from FoW cause you might get a rare weap.

Lawl... Irony. For balanced parties, FoW is alot easier. For solo farmers, UW is easier.

I'd like to post my "solo the whole fow build in 1 hour" but...
I'm italian so it takes time to translate skill's names, mob's names etc..
And i'm not good at making videos but i will try to make a guide, its so funny to do^^ and 50-60k as reward for who can do it.
I dunno which is better between solo fow and solo uw...
Coz solo fow= 1 hour= 50k, solo uw= 20 mins each run and 50k/hour...
Fastest? uw. Adrenalinic? fow. I make the same money/hour in both so
cant really say whats better... Alternate!

For UW/FOW

I prefer FOW, for solo farm or grup play, UW in my opinion is boring (not a lot of variety....)

Sorry, but I don't think that you'll see a build from him. To make 50k/h he must find like 25 Shards or just gold drops, rofl

Hm..I don't think you can solo the whole FoW in an hour..It takes more than 1 hour for me to clear the forrest + beach + parts of the shadow army with my Warrior.

Each group of mobs takes less than 1 min with that build, so u can do it in 1 hour.

Best things i got recently:
- Lots Chaos Axes, with low req or just perfect mods
- Gold Shadow/Gloom Shields
- Gold Shadow Swords
- Sapphires/Rubies (very frequently in this period, 1 of them each run ofc)
- Crystalline (it was req 12 but still gold and 15 enchanted, sold for 200k, found from chest)
- Ecto if u do the quest and kill banshee!!!

When u cleaned up the whole place u have 15/20 shards, 3-6 golds, and about 5k in white stuffs.

In this way, doing it repeatly, i gained about 3 mil, it takes 1 hour but worth it, and funny coz u cant die lol.
The only problem is that ****** Rastigan, he suicide himself sometimes -_- i hate him!
Btw, i say before making the guide: You must have and beated NF and proph or u cant do it.

I have a hunch that I know the build he's using for FoW...(*cough* Dervish *cough*). If he's able to do *all* of FoW, it's probably a 55, an elem, or a derv though.

I said i do this with W/Mo.
Tbh i dont like 55 builds, i only farm with warrior and sin.

Warrior 100% of FoW? If you're using monk as your secondary I'm gonna be guessing at Mending/Watchful/Balthazar's Spirit (B Spirit would be like an infinite pool of adren down there). I'd really like to see it in action though, I have a warrior myself and have been trying to see just what is within its grasp as far as soloing goes (along with my ranger and my assassin...whom I've been trying to come up with a non-echo+shadow form FoW build).

If he's using enchants, how is he surviving against shadow army mesmers? I guess with Balth spirit he can spam some adrenal skills to take out skeletal bonders, but I still doubt he'd be able to spike enough to take out one. I'll look at NF skills that might be helpful, try to guess the build before the guide! That'd be a fun game lol.

Ill Put it this Way Guys from What i saw along Time Ago. FoW Beach Was Dropping Saphires and Rubies Like Crazy and i ment a person that got 99 of ea in FoW Beach Solo. The Obsidian Shards like Crazy in 2 man Beach or Solo Beach Farm.

I just believe it when you've posted your uber build... a screen of you with the cleared burning forest and an empty party window would be enough, though

FoW beach or FoW Forest?

The easiest is Forest Solo with the ranger. Warrior Beach solo sucks, because you always have to heal out the degen. Dervish Beach Solo is as easy as Forest with the ranger.

i feel that my fow runs with warrior are much faster then UW runs with my mesmer. Its all opinionated though... As other have said they say UW is easier then FoW, I find farming UW with my mesmer harder then FoW with warrior. But then I find farming UW with my mesmer much easier then farming the wailing forest with my Ranger.

its a vicious circle!

You should really post some screenshots about your uber builds cuz no one is believing you..

About FoW farming with a warrior:

Beach:

No screenshots..can make them if you guys want.

Shadow Army:

Forrest:

Step 1: Run to the Tower of Courage and lure 1 group of Shadow Rangers and Abyssals. Cast Vengeful was Khanhei whenever its possible. Make sure Dolyak Signet and Watch Yourself! are always on. When the Abyssals are down, head to the Rangers and distract their Troll Unguent.

Step 2: Clear the rest of the Rangers and Abyssals, after that run to the Forest of the Wailing Lord. Take your flatbow and lure the Spirit Shepherds. Use Vengeful Was Khanhei whenever it's possible.

Step 3: When Rock Borer Worms pop up, go to melee range so they start attacking you. Cast Vengeful Was Khanei when it's possible but watch out for Chocking Gas!

Step 4: Spirit Woods, they are easy. Just distract their Troll Unguent.

Step 5: When spiders pop up, walk to melee range so they won't use Healing Spring and cast Vengeful Was Khanhei.

Step 6: Now take the left way and lure the next group of Shepherds.

Step 7: Kill the second group of Shepherds.

Step 8: Go to the small hill you should see in front of you and kill the Spirit Woods. Remeber to distract their Troll Unguent.

Step 9: You should see a bridge with 4 Skeleton Berserkers in front of it. Lure 1 group and kill them using your Vengeful Was Khanhei.

Step 10: When you move forward to kill the second group, watch out because a Skeletal Impaler might pop up. Kill him with your Vengeful Weapon's.

Step 11: Take the right way and you'll face the second halve of the forest. Kill everything using the same tactics I gave you to kill the first halve.

step 12: If you want, you can clear the abode of the Wailing Lord but watch out! You might agro to much.
